Parts of this album haven't aged all that well -- the funk stuff especially -- but I do think when they move away from that, it's a pretty great album. "Breaking the Girl", "I Could've Lied", "Give it Away", "Suck My Kiss", and "Under the Bridge" are all pretty excellent songs. The rest isn't all bad either. Even though the first half of "Sir Psycho Sexy" is questionable, that coda is great. Too much filler, but I do think there's a classic album in here somewhere. 4 stars.
