If you’re allergic to fun, then you wouldn’t like this album. Seriously - everything about this wild romp of a rock opera is so ridiculously cheesy and over the top, it’s borderline impossible not to enjoy it. All I really ask when listening to a song/album, is for the artist to grab and command my attention with their music. That doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be in the style of Mr Loaf (cocaine-fueled, grab-you-by-the-balls rock opera) but boy is that approach effective here. And I sure can’t say that every artist/album on this list has been effective in doing that, so credit where credit is fuckin’ due \m/
