I think this is pretty good, and I can see why it's in the book -- it definitely helped spawn a lot of new subgenres like emo and math rock. It's not totally my thing, but I did enjoy a few of the songs -- "Here Come the Rome Plows", "Golden Brown", and "Super Unison" are all pretty cool. I didn't really like the longer songs, which I found to be a bit plodding. 3.5 stars.
