It’s a nirvana album, sounds like a nirvana album, to point nowadays don’t remember which songs are on which of the last 2 albums would have sworn dumb was on nevermind - oh well that’s on me, vaguely remember at the time lot being said about how different, whatever. if you like them, if you don’t etc etc. like the music I started listening to them when got bleach when it came out, as into all the sub pop stuff and thought they were a little Husker du like, but still continue from back in the day to have a personal issue with the obsession with them like they are ground zero for rock, or like some immaculate second coming that sprung from nowhere, yes they had deserved massive crossover hits with great songs so it sounded new n fresh from what was around on mtv, which is their superpower not being the one and only as others had done similar but not successfully, just google why nirvana and not husker du, who I will die saying were a better band did it earlier and better, but nirvana in the end had the best selling album, the tabloid wedding and dayglow suicide to cement their place in rock history. End of the day it’s good raw rock with pop elements, 4 Star
