Joan's voice is incredibly clear and bright. The album is mastered so well for something as old as it is. This is gorgeous, very stripped folk music that highlights an incredible voice.
Very solid drumming skill, got a good driving rythm to it. I enjoy this as background music but it's not a thing I'd want to typically listen to.

This isn't my favorite album to listen to as an album. It's definitely an achievement in garage rock sound and history, but it's a bit slow for my taste in rock and I don't think that all the songs are equal in quality. A couple of White Stripes classic songs are on here, but also are some not as interesting ones where Jack White's voice sounds squeaky and annoying. When they hit it, the result is incredible, but there are a lot of meh songs here too.
