1001 Albums Summary

A classic I've never actually listened to till now. A lot of influence into the music I listen to now. Hot take: the black keys donut better with less instruments.jack white is the best parts of this distilled. THAT FAT ASS BASS LINE AT THE START OF DAZED AND CONFUSED.

Bold to start with accordion. There's either a keyboard playing bass sounds or they have out the most annoying filter on the bass. It's compressed and almost "elastic" feeling.

Getting some influence from early 70s prog rock. This would still be fantastic and big if released today. But it's a fantastic step between the rock of our parents and modern rock. It maybe the missing link of music.

What a voice! This is lyrically, instrumentally, and produced so uniquely. The album gets much better in the later half. Worth revisiting for sure. For that alone it's getting the highest honor: adding to my spotify favorites.
