1001 Albums Summary

Initial critique - Clearly influenced by the Beatles, not always in a positive way. Lyrics contrived in their whimsy. Blues guitar. Shades of bowie Not special. Final critique - 6.0/10 Nothing entirely original. May not have been the case at the original release of album. Great guitar tracks. Some really nice composition of songs but always sounded like it could have been a wannabe bowie song. Good music but not something I will seek again. Best tracks - monolith, ripoff*

Initial Critique - Chris Cornell is a vocal god. A masterclass in 90's rock. Despite listening to many of the songs on the album as singles, had never listened to it as an album.
