Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Jan 14 2021

What up what up y’all it’s Chanclas Batman a.k.a. Chanclas checkin in and checking out “Odessey and Oracle”. A sun-dipped daydream from the 60’s with a lingering finish. Bangers on top of bangers in the last half of the album. I’ll admit you might have to be in the mood for the genre or the dudes voice, but if you are it’s definitely a close to perfect album that deserves a full listen. Saved tracks: 8/12 tf? track: “changes” tf? I’m kinda sad now track: “butchers tale” Stand out tracks: final 3 tracks

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Jan 15 2021

Sup y’all it’s Chanclas Batman a.k.a. Chanclas checkin in and checking out “Rubber Soul”. Beatles were dope, there is no getting around it (except for Lennon) but not enough bangers on this album to stand out as a perfect or close to “perfect album” in my mind. Although I doubt it’s the last we’ll hear of the Beatles in our journey down this rabbit hole. till next time ya filthy animals. Saved 3/14 tracks. Stand out tune: Girl

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jan 16 2021

Chika-chika boom boom, Chanclas in the room room, here with thoughts for you, on “out of the blue”. I feel the appeal, a couple bangers right from the get go, this happy go lucky journey through space is peppered with memorable tracks. But the journeys a bit long ain’t it? 17 tracks might just be too many for an album in my opinion. However it’s length and energy does make it a excellent album for getting some good cleaning done. Beware dancing might occur. True feeling: 3.7/5 stars Saved tracks: 6/17 Stand out tune: turn to stone

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jan 17 2021

Ch-ch-ch-Chanclas in the mix, here to judge them tracks and count them stacks, today were diving deep into that Jazz, with “kind of blue”. Chanclas likes the jazz, and after talking to Chanclas Batman, who also enjoys a nice jazz, we’ve agreed that this meets our criteria for “perfect” album. We’re giving the album 5/5 not in the sense that it’s filled with bangers but in the sense that the songs flow well into each other and keep you in the same kinda groove start to finish. Pairs well with a joint. True feeling: 4.2/5 stars Saved tracks: 3/5 Noteworthy note: 45:45 runtime (nice) Standout tune: all blues

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Jan 18 2021

Yo yo chanclas in building and like a cat in a bag I’m ready to drown because we have to listen to the verve. They’re like the semi-palatable indie version of nickelback. I like some of the guitar work and that’s about it. I’m going to leave this album with the rest of the 90’s in my memory, mostly forgotten. True feeling: it’s foo foo lame Stand out tune: I guess “sonnet” Shoot myself tune: bittersweet symphony/the drugs don’t work
