1001 Albums Summary

I like this more than I thought I would. I had previously tried this album but was being impatient and never gave it a full chance. Favorite Track : Get Innocuous! Least Favorite Track : Someone Great

Not my ideal genre or sound. A chore to listen to. Mostly forgettable although some tracks have decent moments. Favorite Track : Twenty Four Hours Least Favorite Track : Heart and Soul

Better than “Licensed To Ill” by far to me. Great use of samples. The album does run a little long though. Favorite Track : Get It Together Least Favorite Track : Ricky’s Theme

I have a newfound appreciation for Deep Purple. Still not my cup of tea necessarily, but they definitely put on a show. Lots of epic tunes here. Favorite Track : Highway Star Least Favorite Track : The Mule

A must-listen for Jazz beginners. I’m not huge on the cool / hard bop style but this album is still a great collection of tracks. Favorite Track : Venus De Milo Least Favorite Track : Boplicity

I love Queen and this is one of my favorites from them. It flows well, it’s catchy, it rocks in a classic timeless way.

This may be the first emo sounding band I’ve ever immediately enjoyed. This record was truly something I’d never felt before. Only a few slow sections. Favorite Track : Dominion / Mother Russia Least Favorite Track : 1959
