Blue Lines
Massive Attack
Blue Lines is the first song to win me over, the transition into the next song from Blue lines is also very clean and admirable.
Expected nothing until Five Man Army until I realised this is the same Massive Attack that's made Teardrop, either way. Five Man Army's drum placement at the end is phenomenal.
Every song after that is very vibe-able to, and the album picks up pace but it's very easy to forget the difference in the songs here. Still, daydreaming is perhaps my favourite of the last 4.

Public Enemy
The background opening puts the song at 4- right at the start.
Kudos for the lyrics being unproblematic and while keeping flow and still talking about issues. Pollywanacraka is Lyrical hilarity, same for can't do nuttin for you man.
The mixes are new to me, love this.

Bad Company
Bad Company
I viscerally hated the repetitiveness the first two times and then I hated it even more and I hate Rock Steady, it is pretentiously long. However, I ended up letting it play as background music when I was chatting with a friend at 12:30 am.
So, if you ask me? Decent song/s, first few songs don't work as an album, last few songs are not that great standalone. I would have to be raised in a pub where everyone sang this in a chorus every week for me to love this. I see the potential but majorly underwhelming as a 1001 albums you HAVE to listen to. Plenty albums like this, I feel this was picked for nostalgia, and I won't bash on that.
2+/5 like an iddle widdle plus

I Against I
Bad Brains
There is no socially appropriate time of the day to play Punk on speakers. That's what I believe, and so to solidity it I played this album at three different times of the day. My family rates this 2/5 and that makes me wonder where did it go wrong.
I am a little ashamed as a big punk fan (for status and for the music) that I never heard of Bad Brains ever before. This album tears me apart because songs like Sacred Love and Secret 77 are perhaps some of my favourite songs yet I'm not sure if this deserves a 5/5.
The album was an experience start to finish and it was extremely fun to listen to, speakers or earphones. Maybe Bad Brains has more consistency otherwise, like in their self titled as I've been told, but as my first bad brains album I will give this a 5/5. I don't care.

Back In Black
AC/DC
First album with Brian Johnson replacing Bon Scott. Iconic songs and album to be honest. The vocals, I am well suited to so I don't mind. Very honestly an album you DO need to listen to before you die. A vibe and I played air guitar to this while sick. lovely album.
Strong 4 to 5 man.

Love
1. The weird one instrument per ear stereo is much better than the unmastered mono.
2. The sound is kinda sweet. It makes me smile.
3. Revelation is entertaining background music.
I like this music a lot, but at the same time I kind of prefer Jazz Music like Gerry Mulligan. I like this album tho, solid fun. It's the little nuances that make it. Very fun. So why only 3? Because I feel as supposedly significant and fun this is, I couldn't read into the lyrics and I don't see this growing on me.

Heroes
David Bowie
I listened to this album twice just to make sure I was hearing right and believable. So far no album apart from Bad Company has disappointed me so sharply after Heroes. It's like there's a sharp drop in quality. Someday with more patience I'll understand this album a lot more.
The songs that I really love I will rate a solid 4-5. Heroes is an anthem to me. But maybe because of the generation I grew up in, and that these are ALBUMS to listen to, I expect something as an album.
It's so disappointing, with this voice and solid songs, the album is a drop in quality. So disappointing.
((I went back and read the history of the album, maybe someday I will look at this album differently, but I personally did not enjoy it. I'm listening to Ziggy Stardust and with every song the groove helps me forget Heroes))

It's one thing to always hear about how R&B has influenced music and been sampled so much over time, it is another to listen to the albums yourself. I am a big fan of R&B and the voice really adds to the flow, here it is perfect.
I have nothing against this album, for uniformity sake I am not including the remixes included in the remaster as well I don't take that as a part of the original album. I find this simple, smooth and sweet, never once boring, never not groovy. Absolutely no qualms with the album.
Banger of a closing too.

Okay everything was good until the weird "I wan sushi" vocals in my right ear in Yeah Yeah while the rest of the song pretends to be completely normal. Wild experience.
Fun album.

I liked this album. To make this chill music in 75 without getting wankery with the guitar is pretty respectable.

I don't hate it man, I love country but 10 songs of this is too much even for me.
I like the twang, but I ain't like it so much.
2/5 man, can't rate it 1 because a few songs on this, if they came on The Wire I'd be absolutely obsessed with.

Pretty fun an album, nowhere near Budokan but I liked this enough to check out Elvis Costello for his voice and sound.
Maybe a few songs that aren't as exciting as the rest, but I vibe to this big time.
