How do you follow The Joshua Tree? This is how. You expand your sound. You get out of your comfort zone a bit. The songs on Achtung Baby feel more personal and sound more energetic. Only thing is I personally don't care for is the last 2 songs. Other than that, great album!!!
Sounded like a drunken mess. Songs that stood out were David Watts and Death of a Clown. Waterloo Sunset I've heard before and is a good song. Other than that, It was a cross off the list. 1000 to go...
As much as I would like to love this album, I can't. Other than the title track and Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, the rest of the album pretty much sounds like the same boring song broken into different tracks.
This album was quite interesting. The band merged Ska, Jazz, Latin, Funk, Pop, and dare I say a bit of Punk to pretty much every song. One of those albums and groups that didn't fit with the genre they were unfortunately placed. Good album.

Never heard the whole album when it came out. Knew the Mrs. Robinson cover and title track were good. First few songs were pretty good. Then it got boring. Meh.
