1001 Albums Summary

I was cutting an avocado while listening to this album and while “A Means to an End” came on, I felt like maybe I should be the avocado. Definitely sad boi shit. I also felt that Ian Curtis was standing 10 feet away from the mic and obnoxiously yelling the entire album trying to blend in with all the other instruments and not giving a fuck about any of it anymore. I learned later today that he took his own life shortly after the album was produced and then remembered the avocado.

Really enjoyed the intro, “Be” and “Faithful” Didn’t expect the beat to be so swaying to the point where I am melting on the floor.

Great with depicting things they may have not experienced through the eyes of someone else and possibly all the feelings that come with those experiences. Listened to half the album in the shower and it seemed as though no matter how much soap I had lathered on me I could not wash away the grime and leather smell that was waving through my ear canal.
