Really like encountering jazz in different contexts. I knew of latin jazz, but was not well-versed in it. The album was skillful, but the second half receded into the background of my attention. My favorite track turned out to be a "silly" song about a duck. I liked the way the melody seemed intricate and playful. Favorite tracks: O Pato, Samba Triste

I'm a huge fan of Mike Patton and projects like Mr. Bungle and Fantomas. I had heard "Epic" from this album before, but not too many Faith No More songs. This album wasn't bad, but just didn't grab me. Well-crafted funk / rock. Bass sound is killer. Favorite song: Woodpecker from Mars

My friend Beth gave me a cassette tape of this album in high school. I listened to it on the bus ride many times, and fell in love with it. There are a few "weaker" or less memorable songs ("I Looked at You," "Take it as it Comes"), but generally I can listen start to finish and still be in awe. Favorite song: Break on Through
