Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath
One of the classic great Metal albums, and I've heard it many times before. Though listening this time, several years after the first, I now see the blues influences better. The same kind of driving bass and simple melodies that would go on and become the basis for Funk and Disco. Neat stuff that.

Songs In The Key Of Life
Stevie Wonder
Fantastic by almost all accounts. The album is quite long and does begin to drag after "As" and the synths used throughout are a bit dated. However, the hits can't possibly be denied. I mean, Sir Duke... It's Sir Duke.

Time Out
The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Interesting, though mostly forgettable. Instrumental Jazz just kind of works like that though. It's pleasant and inoffensive to listen too, but it very rarely will leave me with a lasting imprint after the fact.

Back To Black
Amy Winehouse
A very well produced pop/soul thing that works in most aspects, but like 50% of the album is pretty forgettable.
