Songs to Add: - Respect - Drown in my Own Tears (Remake playlist) - Good Times (Chores Song) - A Change Is Gonna Come - Save Me Whole album aside from one or two songs has a melancholy tone. Reminds me of a sad, gray, rainy day. Think the part of the movie after the big fights where a couple spends the day thinking about the events the night before being sad and contemplating what to do next.

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós

Can see myself listening to this and visualizing my own movie notes. A background soundtrack to a life I had before. A life going nowhere yet towards a place I couldn’t see. Days seemingly passing by. “One day like any other” too many. I see gray. I see rain but not in a melancholy way or in a sad way. Something much darker. Like a dream or a nightmare with no end. It’s not painfully or scary but uneasy, frustrating, and unending in its plainness. The “nothing” before the story begins. The fourth track reminds me of the beginning of the heroes journey. “The Start”. “The Beginning”. “The End of an Ordinary Life”. Evokes a feeling of destiny. The sixth track: “The Ending of the World”, “I Failed…”

Guess I didn’t save that lay on about the motorcycle and the road. It’s okay, the songs rate all I need to remember. These songs were in Armageddon. A pretty good album for a half an hour. Not all my cup of tea but songs I can listen to.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Sep 30 2021

Not a bad start to the album. It somehow has an old feel but a modern beat at the same time. Always liked Elvis songs and has been sung for as long as I can remember. It’s overall a solid album. Not one songs is bad and it’s almost like a flow of themes from one song to another. Guess that’s why they called him the King. Definitely an album to listen to or play while you’re doing stuff or just ant a soundtrack for the day.
