Grace by Jeff Buckley
Nov 09 2021

I can't really complain about anything about this album. A lot of the songs are relatively simple, but Buckley has a powerful voice and he gives his songs the same power and passion. The range of the album also made the album so much more engaging. All that being said, nothing about the album super stuck out to me, but It was a great album and I really enjoyed it.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Nov 10 2021

I never had listened to this album all the way through before, it's certainly a lot funkier than the ones I have listened to (which makes sense cause like half the songs have the word funk in them). It's a fun album to listen to though, prefer the not funky songs like "I could have lied" and "under the bridge".

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Nov 11 2021

The songs were all very similar, there was some nice guitar, but the album was forgettable. The one song that was just her singing was stupid and another one of her songs she sounded like she just finished smoking. Not a fan.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Nov 12 2021

I like guitar, and this album was a lot of it. Frank Zappa is a really good guitarist, I prefer the kinda slower rather than funkier/jazzier style Zappa has, but the point is he is a very good guitarist. the begging of willie the peep was weird, but the guitar was insane in all the songs. I enjoyed it.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Dec 01 2021

Ive never really been a huge fan of deep purple, they are a really great band, the guitarist i forget his name, i do really love, and say if he was in another band, like maybe with dio, I would really enjoy the band but idk deep purple just doesnt work for me. All their songs start here and and here(my hand is up high for both), and i really like direction in songs. Good album, not to my taste.

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Dec 10 2021

for starters, I hate the singer, and outside of that, it's just corny and bad. I'm trying to find something that I like about it, but It's really got nothing going for It, just typical 80's music. If I gave deep purple a 2 this gets a like a -3, but that's not an option so it gets my first 1 star.
