Harvest
Neil YoungMy background with music is spotty at best. I figure that is why I am here. Country Music is a notoriously weak spot, so getting this album as my first is appreciated as just about every song will be fresh. Overall, the album has a mellow feeling to it that I could see myself enjoying while painting or getting lost in the woods. However, there were definitely some songs that just felt a little out of place. "There's a World" was a big miss for me, but all in all, there were more hits than misses. The Needle and the Damage Done was very emotional and it instantly struck a chord with me. Words quickly became another favorite of mine once I heard those guitar solos. All in all I see why this album has stayed so popular for so many years. Top Songs: The Needle and the Damage Done, Heart of Gold (a song even I recognized), Words
