Stevie WonderGets a little same-y as it goes along, but you can't deny Stevie's musicianship and ingenuity. The synth work on this is wonderful.

Obviously, Fairytale of New York is an all-time classic, but, this was rough to get through otherwise. I'm sure this album hits the right place for certain people, but, this was not for me.
After only really experiencing post Smooth-era Santana, this was a breath of fresh air and made it rather obvious what founded the band's legacy. A lot more mellow and groove-heavy than the flashy guitar show-off that I've heard of him. Of course it's a little bit lengthy on the endless noodling side, but, still, a good show.
