1001 Albums Summary

Wasn't really for me, it was different and reminds me of a new wave soul artist capturing elements of older style southern American music. He's talented, it's just not my sort of thing.

I would love to know what concoction of "medicine" he was on when this was written. I do like the album, and even though some of his bigger songs are on this album, I actually liked the songs 'Hangin' 'Round' and 'I'm So Free'

ZZ Top are one of them bands that are just brilliant at what they do. They just quietly go about their business and make classic songs that don't get the recognition they deserve. Their endurance and simplicity is clear with this album.
