Reminds me of arcade fire. No catchy hooks so far, which would be helpful in some of those very repetitive sections of songs. Singer is great in a weird way. Interesting choice for using samples in a very plain and unprocessed way (so far based on what I'm hearing).

Classic stuff. You can hear the influence this has on the Grateful Dead, Chris Isaak, and the CatDog theme song. All bangers.

I thought the instrumentation was solid throughout the album, but I'm not a fan of the lead singer's voice. Everything was fine, but nothing was particularly catchy or stand out.
