Bareboned blues. Great musicians, basic lyrics as expected.

Poetry. Some Dylan inspired lyrics, much darker and much more urban. Often visceral, often decadent working class drunk storytelling. Scorching vocals. Unique, creative metaphores. One of a kind.

Raw pre-grunge soft-loud dynamic. Still trying weird things, weird lyrics. Some hit & misses. Kim deal is awesome.

Blues patterns revisited, amazing clean singing by the king. Different timbers and styles, slow or fast - everything's on point. Song selection not too versatile, some too similar songs.. but it's 1960. Better singer than anyone else at that time.
