Neon Bible
Arcade FireSongs seemed like those of other bands in many cases. Don’t ask me who. Most were somewhat inaccessible to me but I really liked (Antichrist Television Blues).

This one has the soul I crave. Oh lord almighty.
Lot of Big Band Jazz and maybe Standards on this album. Not sure what to do with that… Can’t listen to too much of it at a time. Two Years of Torture, now there’s a good song.
Probably my favorite album when I was living the late 90’s. Reminds me of nightlife in the city, winter. As for the music, I always like the synth and vocals, echo effects. I didn’t notice all the reference to pills earlier. Go back and listen to Slide Away, the bass line and “So take your time…” it’s a vibe.
I want to take longer than I day to appreciate this one. You get by with a little help from your friends.
I’ve never really liked this genre.
My boys in RH got a lil artsy fartsy. Mostly felt like I was passing a stone!
Well hi neighbors. I’m so glad to be introduced to this. Started and listened, because the famous name, then hung around for that unbelievable voice, steel guitar, fiddle, piano, strings, bass. Every line perfectly enunciated. (Perfect in its own way). Yessiree all of it right thar.
It’s like TC was thinking I have all these tunes and compositions that are not like many other artists’ and now I need some lyrics, hmmm… let me just write down the first stupid shit that comes to mind. OK there, it’s done: incredible instrumentals, harmonies, smooth grooves, but how about some better poetry. And then cameos by Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald track- Show You The Way drops- almost full redemption “it’s ya boy, Thundercat”. And it’s Synth done right. Guys there a lot of tracks here. Tokyo is hilarious. And by the way, Thundercat might be the best name for anything out there.
I just can’t listen to Morrisey whine any longer!
Glad I’m back in time for mr John Martyn. Never heard of him. Unique and ahead of his time way back in 73? I love the guitar work. Some of it reminds me of James Taylor without the nasal. Night club psychedelic. Brown shag carpet and beads for doors.
