Sign 'O' The Times
Prince
An incredible album start to finish. Prince mixes loads of genres from pop, funk, jazz, soul, r&b. The performances, the song writing, the instruments. Prince has it all. This album is just further proof to why he is one of the best artists of all time. And arguably one of the biggest influences in Pop history.

Something Else By The Kinks
The Kinks
Classic 60s British Rock pop, but with an introspective spin, the songwriting is fun, introspective and they tell many stories across multiple tracks with some common things. Great listen and takes you back, the drums, keys, guitars, all great.

Closer
Joy Division
Not totally for me in the end but the talent and quality of the band is undeniable. Every instrument is performed at the highest level and so is the structure of the songs and order of them, specifically the transition. Strong 3.5 for me. I'll round up and go 4 stars cause I feel it's closer to a four than a lone 3.

Fun, pop rock, classic 70s English album. Wears it's influences on it sleeves. Easy listening. Instruments performed well, especially the piano.
