1001 Albums Summary

Decent album. Not a huge 80s rock fan, but I feel like they did this jangly pop style very well that didn’t sound cheesy. The guitars were super jangly and the bass was probably the most underrated rhythm element. Then again, the vocals are fairly bland and a bit twangy for my taste. Overall, I’d give it a 6/10.

I liked this a lot. Dave Navarro’s guitar playing was incredible. The vocals were sitting in the mix so well melodically. Definitely earned my respect. The lyrics however can be a bit twisted and strange, but that is a personal take and that is the only gripe I have.
