I already knew Cinnamon Girl, but the rest of the record is new to me. Down by the River is a good song initially. It's not my favourite album, but it's good. Would relisten I think. Bit of a fight between Cinnamon Girl and Cowgirl in the Sand as favourites. Initial thoughts are a 3.5/5?

Probably one of the most iconic rock albums of all time and for good reason.

Good god this is beautiful. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much but the production is so clean and warm, and the arrangements are just beautiful. I know this is a record of pop standards, but Nelson really really fucking nails them. Beautiful altogether.
