Led Zeppelin IV
by Led Zeppelin
This album has one of the strongest starts to any record with the deep bluesy ‘black dog’ and doesn’t stop with three back to back to back bangers, rock and roll, the battle of evermore and stairway giving this entire an album a Tolkien-esque level of folk fantasy epic poetry. Zeppelin IV does fall off a bit once we get to songs like Misty Mountain Hop and Four Sticks. These two in particular definitely being the lull in the middle of the album. However the album does pick right back up with the beautiful mandolin guitar harmony on going to California and the absolute rocking closer when the levee breaks. Feeling a light to decent 4/5 on this
