Exile On Main Street
The Rolling Stones
What can you say about this album that hasn’t already been said? It’s a freaking masterpiece. A first glance at the album cover should tell you that it’s a dark deep dive into the seediness and underbelly of rock and roll.

The Soft Bulletin
The Flaming Lips
Soft Bulletin is hands down my favorite Lips record. I feel Soft Bulletin is their “Revolver” and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is their “Sgt Peppers”.
Soft Bulletin is the point in which the freak out acid tinged psychedelia of their early work and pop sensibility finally reached a touch point. Yet it’s still has a fresh lo-fi sound and sensibility where Yoshimi was more polished.
Overall amazing album

Queen II
Queen
To be honest, no where near my favorite Queen album. You can hear they are still developing their signature sound and balancing it with pop sensibilities

Ocean Rain
Echo And The Bunnymen
This album is a full blown classic! Lush, atmospheric, melodic and flat out beautiful from beginning to end. The guitar work from Marc Sargent is fantastic. This is the high water mark for the Bunnymen.

The Stranger
Billy Joel
Solid record and somewhat of a breakout raising Joel to a new level as a singer songwriter. There’s easily 5 standout tracks that are considered masterpieces.
