1001 Albums Summary

This is my first album that I am listening to with this website. I am happy that it is a Stevie Wonder song as I have never listened to a full album by this artist before. I am trying to listen to the album with full focus & write my thoughts, so we shall see how this goes. Disc 1 Thoughts: Sir Duke is my favorite song of the disc. It is just absolutely incredible. Pastime Paradise threw me for a loop cause it is a current trending song that I think somebody remixed Stevie Wonder's song. I want to listen to the remixed song cause I think it would be nice. It is absolutely crazy how Contusion is just full of instrumentals. This song is def getting added to my study playlist. Village Ghetto Land is just a weird song (mix-match with the name & the vibes), but I enjoyed it. Disc 2 Thoughts: Isn't She Lovely is a BOP that I have previously listened to. Joy Inside My Tears is so far the saddest song & it got me in my feels a lil bit. It was longer, but I enjoyed it. I knew that there was going to be some sort of pro-black/black equality song & Black Man did not disappoint. As is the love song that I needed in my life. I want this song played at my wedding! Whole Albums Thoughts: Personally, I am wayy more into upbeat & faced paced songs currently, so my favorite songs reflects that. This album is a perfect way to start this because it is something different than I normally listen to, but I still absolutely love it :) I love the upbeat funk, instruments, & music voice!
