musically this album checks all of the boxes. great melodies, riffs, and lyrics. but for some reason it's just not doing it for me. i think it's michael stipe's voice. i'm definitely not denying that this is one of the best albums of its time.

incredibly impressive and emotional album. the kate bush influences are obvious, but in the best way.

goes without saying that this is one of the most influential albums of all time. It's best experienced with headphones, fully immersing yourself in the smooth sounds of jimi's guitar.

this album could have been released in 2023 and I wouldn't have questioned it. In a word, timeless.

i absolutely loved this album. so much passion in his voice and the blend of rock, folk, and blues just works so well.
