Ocean Rain
Echo And The BunnymenThis was great! Perfect 80s sound.

I had never really listened to Common but I really enjoyed the sound of the album - modern rap and classic soul at the same time. I'm interested in reading the lyrics and better understanding his connection to Chicago.
Don McLean will always remind me of the year we (Danny) lived with Dan and Jason and Carmen. In spite of that, I love him. I was most familiar with his greatest hits album so it was fun to listen to this full album. 'American Pie' is pretty perfect to me and 'Vincent' always makes my voice break when I sing it. If ever an album made me want to sit by an open window in Spring after a long Winter it's this one. Simultaneously exhausted and hopeful. I really loved his performance of 'Babylon'. PS. He's still alive and touring! He's in Australia in April!
I understand that this a great album and that it's very critically acclaimed and that it sounds good. I'm just not obsessed with it. Maybe it's because I'm a lyrics girl and I can't understand a word of it. Maybe it just doesn't bring me joy and that's ok... I feel uncool though. Don't tell cousin Brian.
Like most soundtracks, I might have a stronger connection to this if I had a connection to the movie. But I don't think I've ever actually seen it! It was great, easy listening though. I particularly liked "Bumpy's Lament" and "No Name Bar" and "Do Your Thing" has something for everyone it's in nearly 20 minutes of rambling!
I'm excited for this one! Hard to believe but I've never listened to it! I somehow missed my "Beatles" phase...
I liked the sound of it but only had it playing in the background. I'll have to add it to my "return to" list.
This was great! Perfect 80s sound.
'Between the Bars' changed my life.
Really loved this.
Woah. Improvised?! How exciting! How have I never heard this guy?
Not my thing.
