L.A. Woman
by The Doors
Not fully my cup of tea, but there's no denying the musicianship. I actually found I liked a lot of the album tracks better than the popular singles. "The Changeling" is a nice funky intro track -- and "L'America" is a hypnotizing, spooky ditty. But for all intents and purposes, this is still a blues rock album that feels like it goes on a bit too long. A fitting final record, though, for Jim Morrison.
