1001 Albums Summary

I like the Sex Pistols, I have listened to this whole album a few times through in the past. However I always just listened to it to listen, not to think about its influence. I could really see where modern pop punk and emo music gained influence, as well as other forms of modern alt music. Favorite songs of this album are, of course, god save the Queen and anarchy in the uk. I also really enjoyed holidays in the sun. Overall I like this album a lot, it’s not my personal favorite of all time though so I’ll give it a 4/5!

I like Bob Dylan, I really like his storytelling style and songs. For me personally I find that there are better Bob Dylan albums, that aren’t live recordings, out there. So I’m giving this specific album a 3/5. One of my favorite songs ever is Desolation Row, and I do enjoy like a rolling stone. If you’re looking for something louder and faster go to My Chemical Romance’s cover of Desolation Row, it is a shorter version but very good!
