1001 Albums Summary

Something like quintessential dad rock. Album gets better towards the end, the start is relatively slow and nothing to write home about. Later half is much more enjoyable. Standout Song(s) : With A Gun; Honourable Mention : Pretzel Logic.

Great, well rounded album. Good songs all around, generally energetic mood while listening to it. It has my favourite R.E.M song : The End Of The World As We Know It Standouts: The One I Love; Honourable Mention: Oddfellows Local 151.

A very interesting musical style that I had never heard before. Unique, and overall quite nice. I was torn between 3 and 4, but ultimately chose 3 because while the songs were fun to listen to, there was no permanent addition to any playlist.

The traditional Irish instruments add a lot, and make this an enjoyable listen. Standout Songs: Wild Cats of Kilkenny
