1001 Albums Summary

I love Q-Tip's flow. Redundancy of the (drum) riff not appealing, but overall this is a beauty.

"Mojo Working" is a highlight. Not a big blues guy, but fully respect what this era of musicians brought to the table. You can feel the audience tapping their feet on the recording.

Being that we are nearly 60 years out on this release, it has some basic music beds, but still fun. Cheeky lyrics. Following some Beatle-like formulas, but still fun. Recently read that The Kinks considered a pioneer of the punk movement - not by this album.

Not for me. Too chill. Musicianship does not impress and lyrics uninteresting.
