1001 Albums Summary

i dont dislike this album by any means i just think it sounds very dated and out of place in the year 2023 and also i dont think i would listen to this outside of right now so um yeah.

great rock album. fav tracks are: I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor Mardy Bum When The Sun Goes Down From The Ritz To The Rubble

Maybe i'm a little bias because I grew up with a lot of these songs, but this album was a great listen from front to back, even if it did sound a bit similar at times, it kept me engaged and felt shorter than its runtime, which usually is a good thing, and it definitely was in this case. The classic hits still hit just as hard as they always did, such as Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, and Sweet Child O' Mine, timeless cuts like those never lose flavor. And even deep cuts such as It's So Easy, Nightrain, and Rocket Queen stuck with me after the full listen of this album. Overall, a very pleasing listen and definitely a staple album in the genre (despite me not being familiar with the genre itself, this surely has to have some mark or staple on it, surely.)

it was okay, decent bit of folk, i liked it, nothing spectacular but it was okay!

throwback classic of mine, one of the first albums ive listened to that was outside of my comfort zone for me and i ended up loving it a lot, always a bit of bias from me to this album

what an excellent album, a beautiful expression of gender identity from an album in the mid 2000s is a very big shock to see, and to have it executed so well was even surprising to me even more. the themes portrayed so well and straight from the heart to the beautiful instrumentals that back them all was just so pleasant to hear all come together and make for a very great listen.
