Just a very good and solid rock album. Drive is an amazing introduction to the album. The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite is honestly a banger. Everybody hurts is a beautiful ballad with a beautiful message for the people who feel they have nothing to live for.
Tracks I enjoyed the most: every single track except Try Not To Breathe, didn’t really like that one
It’s very meh and boring, not really my cup of tea. It’s pretty repetitive and just VERY boring.
Favourite tracks: San Francisco Baby Blues and Cocaine were ok, the rest is meh
Least favourite: Black Baby and Mule Skinner Blues. Horrible tracks and Mule Skinner Blues was obnoxious
It wasn’t the best electronic album I’ve heard but it also wasn’t that bad. Always Be There, Red Alert and Bingo Bangs were pretty good. Stop 4 Love wasn’t bad it was decent. The introduction track was awful. Other than that, most of the tracks were kind of annoying.
2.5/5
Favourite tracks: Always Be There and Red Alert were definitely the better tracks of the album
Least favourite tracks: from track 1 to track 4, absolute horrible.
Very very very solid blues album. Waters brings in great blues melodies with the piano, guitar and even the harmonica. Mannish Boy is a great introduction to the sound of the album. Bus Driver is more laidback which consists of great slide guitar and there’s a lot more in this album. Just a great album.
It’s a pretty good live album from Nirvana. Great acoustics and great addition of traditional instruments like the cello to nirvana songs. There’s like 2 songs that I didn’t really enjoy but other than that it’s pretty good, although I do prefer the Unplugged album by Alice in Chains. Great first track, truly surprised me. The cover of The Man Who Sold The World is amazing I loved it. Dumb to On A Plain had good performances. Didn’t really like Plateau. Oh Me towards the end was pretty good. The concert ends dramatically with When Did You Sleep Last Night, great ending to such a performance. Honestly, just a surprisingly good performance by Nirvana.
Favourite tracks: About A Girl, The Man Who Sold The World, Dumb, Polly, Something In The Way, Oh Me, All Apologies and Where Did You Sleep Last Night.
Least favourite: Pennyroyal Tea and Plateau.
A pretty good record. Lots of great songs filled with great guitar riffs and vocal performance from Marc Bolan. Honestly don't really have much to say except this record was a very pleasent listen.
favourite tracks: Cosmic Driver, Jeepster, Lean Woman Blues, Get It On and Planet Queen.
Lest favourite tracks: Mambo Sun and Life's A Gas, didn't really enjoy them.
This album was ok, there are some bangers here and there but there is a lot of drumming, maybe a bit too much of drumming. I was nicely introduced with the album with "El Cumbanchero", great drumming and great melodies. "Billumba-Palo Congo" was ok, not the best but not the worst, a ton of drumming of course. I really enjoyed Choferito-Plena but from then on it goes down hill.
