1001 Albums Summary

Some catchy composition, lyrics are fairly bland and placing the meaning is difficult, repetitive songs across the whole album. Not my taste but some iconic tunes for a 52 year old album. Without you is by far the most popular track and displays the most musical complexity for me. I find it a compelling and emotional track however it just doesn't provide enough interesting ideas to keep me listening.

Title track and hungry like the wolf are classic 80's synth pop tracks and really stand the test of time. I do feel that the rest of the album doesn't exactly stand out and I don't remember any of the tunes at all. When its great its the best of the early 80's when its not it fades into all the other forgotten tracks from the time.
