1001 Albums Summary

I did feel like I can hear Paul Simon as an influence on albums coming out today. It was also a weird experience not knowing the songs but having certainly heard them all before. I generally like the album artwork as well. It does contain one particular song that outshines all of the rest.

I enjoyed it but need to revisit it before bumping my rating up. Nothing really caught in my head but that might be just because I had a rough day at work.

Hells bells and shoot to thrill are two of the best album opening songs of all time. Hells Bells really should be on a short list of best track 1's. For me its three five star songs and then several middle of the road rock songs, so this will be a 4.

Great album. Right up my alley. Another album with an all-star track 1. Even three songs in, you can capture a lot of the essence of Jack White's projects. Fortunately for me, I love Jack White's other projects.

Not my favorite CCR album. A couple pf classics but sort of wish it was combined with CCR.
