Hot meat, hot rats Hot cats, hot grits Hot roots, hoy shoots Bass and drums really rock throughout the entire album

Meditative

Interesting to hear the seeds of their future sound. I heard influences from The Who’s Tommy in there. And fun to hear them in an unpop mode. Nonetheless I don’t think I can listen to this more than once every 6 months. It’s tiring with so much going on. Brian May really got to let loose on this one. Not my favorite songwriting though

Such a huge album at the time. I remember it being touted as the next big thing after The Beatles. Doesn’t seem to hold up. Fun pop rock songs but lacks depth for me.
