At times derivative but White overcomes these moments with a charismatic presence, great melodies and high level musical competence.
The first half of this seminal album is flawless but I found the second half a little bit dull to be honest. Its very difficult for a millennial like me to objectively review a record and band which has influenced so much of the music that would come after, so much of the music I would listen to and grow to love. I had to add an additional star to this review purely for that.
