1001 Albums Summary

Strange to think this is now a classic when I recall it being quite new, with a couple of tracks now popular wedding fodder. Solid album, although not new to me

Starts off like lift music, pretty sure I've heard at Nandos before. One where I can hear the effort and talent, but not really my vibe. Objectively, would like rate higher than I will based on my subjective enjoyment

One of my dad's favourites, and the first time I've given it more than half a song of a listen. Some strong riffs, despite being more than 50 years old. When released, can see how would have been a breath of magic - still holds up fairly well.

At least one song that now is most recognisable from an advert. Female lead singer's voice notably less strong, this is a 50+ year old album however. Overall fine, not as interesting as some of the previous albums listened to as part of this though.

Band DbD said had gone to see live, not sure I'd make the same decision. They have a sound that hasn't dated the best.
