I enjoyed the listen. I hadn’t heard any of these tracks before, despite being pretty familiar with Wonder’s other classic period albums. However, I don’t see myself revisiting the album as a whole outside of the standouts. Mr. Wonder’s voice is gorgeous as always - amazing warmth, clarity and ease in his delivery. Highlights: Please Don’t Go Heaven Is 10 Zillion Lightyears Away You Haven’t Done Nothin’

Not a bad listen, just not my taste.

I can see the appeal if I had just taken a bunch of speed, but I hadn't, so I just wanted to turn it off and go back to enjoying my day. Knocked a star for Jailbait 🤮

Courtney Love, regardless of anybody’s feelings toward her, possesses a volatility that cannot be replicated or put on. It’s a shame that she’ll never get the credit she deserves for her writing on this album. A feminist record that doesn’t read as performative. A singular rock record in addressing post-partum depression and the body horror of breastfeeding and womanhood in general.
