1001 Albums Summary

Hearing this filled in a lot of gaps for me, this has clearly been an influence on a lot of artists and I hear many homage if not samples throughout.

It's hard not to like this album even though some tracks are played to death now. I snapshot of energy and the epitome of Brit pop.

One of my favourite albums of this period. It doesn't seems to age and the tone of the album feels perennial. A great showcase for Ashcroft's voice and heartfelt writing talent.

Great to hear this again, it's been years. Opened to albums of the era and I loved these to.

Although I've always heard of Steely Dan I'd never taken the time to listen to any albums. This was a pleasant surprise and I gave it 2 plays through. Didn't recognise any songs as singles just enjoyed the flow. It's definitely of a time but hadn't aged too badly in my opinion. Will listen to more too.
