Reggae has never been my favorite, which is only to say I don’t search out Reggae tunes/records, but I can easily let it play in the background of a day at the beach (or even the pool), it’s actually quite perfect there… and this certainly seems a fine Reggae album. Of course I’ve heard “No Woman, No Cry” before and probably even parts of others, but listening and following lyrics a little closer because of this project/website though, so catching references and themes I certainly never would’ve noticed while simultaneously searching for my lost shaker of salt… but was pleasantly surprised at how well this also went with my Saturday morning coffee. Might just have to let this one spin again soon.
