Tres Hombres by ZZ Top

Truly some of the best rock instrumentals I have ever heard. No word of a lie. What a great listen, amazing music, immaculate vibes. Really puts you right back in the 70s. Incredibly smooth sounds, all produced to the highest quality. The album flows very nicely. Not a whole lot to critique on this one. It’s a solid 4 for me

Really enjoyed this, been anticipating the listen for quite a while. Unlike quite a lot of things I’ve heard (honestly). “Us and them” would have to be one of my favourites, as well as “Breathe”. Although, I enjoyed all of them. I really liked the meaning behind a lot of the songs, as well as the feel you get from them. For example, the song “On the Run” sounds and feels like you are running fast or being chased by something. Sort of sounds like the music you get when fighting the final boss in a video game. I thought the cash register sound effects at the start of “Money” were very fitting. I really like the chill vibe you get from “Breathe”. I think it’s placed very well being the 2nd song in. It’s a bit unusual to get into at first with the opening track making you question whether the track is playing, as it is very quiet. I definitely gathered that it’s a much better listen with headphones. Overall I really enjoyed the album, I think it’s one that will become better over a few more listens. At this stage I have it at a 4. It’s just way too good to be any lower🔥
