1001 Albums Summary

So many killer songs on this, even the deep cuts.

I didn’t realize how similar Arcade Fire is to Bruce Springsteen, with some Talking Heads and The Clash thrown in— all artists I love. I should like this but I don’t care for the vocal tone of the singers.

Classic album. One of the best soul records ever. I use it to teach my drumming students how one beat can be used on a ton of songs.
