I think it's all technically very good and a lot of the instrumentation is interesting and sounds really nice It's a lot more mellow, sad and vocally soft most of the way through than I would expect from just the first song A lot of it does sound a bit drawn out and boring to me but that's probably because I'm not very attached and so I'm not paying that close attention But it does sound like an interesting album I can see why it would be highly rated There was some wind in an early song I liked; I like the percussion in Moonchild I do really like long songs that kind of drift into each other and contain almost subsongs so that you can listen for a long time without getting bored at all or even noticing which song is on or when it started or how long it's been on and you just get immersed in it Halfway through moonchild has a lot of really nice noises that work really well together I think Actually the whole second half of that is just very beautiful sounds including varied percussion and guitar among other things A lot of it sounds very familiar - not necessarily that it sounds particularly like much that I've heard but tbh I get the impression that it feels that way because other stuff I've listened to has been influenced by it The Court of the Crimson King also has some nice combinations of percussion, wind and guitar as well as some particularly interesting sounding wind
