Holy 4 on the floor batman. I've tried to get into muse a couple times before and I just can't do it. There are a few fantastic tracks on this album and it is all expertly produced. Howevever I found myself skipping songs and getting bored with their popier songs.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Oct 06 2023

First full listen of this album for me, never given Led Zeppelin a serious listen before and I'll definitely be digging in to their catalog some more. Some super solid tracks on on this and with incredible performance and magnificent production. To me the album in full didn't feel totally cohesive between the more acoustic songs and the heavier ones the last track really felt out of place.

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan

Fantastic production, great song writing and damn near flawless musicianship. The only thing really holding them back is a lack of imagination, but I guess that's not really the point. Not something that I'd listen to in my spare time, but I cannot deny the perfectionism at show on this record.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Oct 10 2023

Cultural phenomenon, best selling album of all time, pop sensation, what more needs be said. The album is held back by songs like, the girl is mine but overall still holds up as a solid 8.5/10

The Next Day by David Bowie
Oct 11 2023

Not good Really odd production. On where are now the volume shifted as his voice comes in and out. Other production choices are similarly baffling. Couldn't get through any single song.

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Oct 12 2023

Flawless folk record. Beautiful voice, great guitar and ambience. A joy to listen and a wonderful piece of history.

Risque by CHIC
Oct 13 2023

Funky, soulful and definitely Disco. It is clear the effect that Chic and this album have had on modern music and this album still holds up after all this time. Not something that I would listen to in my free time, but I couldn't help tapping along and found hard not to break into dance while listening.

Pretty great album with some really strong singles. I felt it was brought down by equally boring songs that I couldn't get into. They were definitely ahead of their time, but it falls flat by modern standards.

Fantastic indie rock album! Like a warm blanket on a rainy afternoon this album is melancholic and welcoming. I listened to this album a bit when it came out but never dug into it as much as I should. Will definitely be looking for this on vinyl.

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Oct 21 2023

What an incredible piece of history and a fantastic album. Will definitely be looking for this on vinyl.

With The Beatles by Beatles
Oct 24 2023

How anyone could rate this collection of low effort poorly performed covers 5 stars is a mystery to me. Their original songs on this record bare some merit, but are similarly lackluster and in my opinion, boring. The Beatles would go on to inspire and shape music as we know it, but only because many other more talented artists were overlooked while they were put on a pedestal.

Berlin by Lou Reed

What a masterpiece. There was a clear vision in mind on this album and Lou Reed delivered it to near perfection.
