1001 Albums Summary

First thing I noticed was the B.B. King did not sound anything like I expected. I knew he was considered a great blues artist, and maybe I've heard some of his stuff, but in general, I thought he would be less upbeat and more somber. I'm definitely enjoying this. I love the horns, the guitar is fun and funky, and he has a great voice.

Wasn't the biggest fan of this album. It's okay, but I definitely don't like the R&B as much

First note is that I don't care for her voice. It sounds like Stevie Nicks if she smoked more.

Drums are a bit overly simplistic. Vocals are alright, guitars are more ambient than forward driving. Definitely no Cage the Elephant but it's not bad in the first song. Not particularly a fan of songs that just drone on for 5 minutes doing nothing. Overall, it feels more shoegazey than Indie.

Pretty mellow overall, but I could listen to it every now and then
