1001 Albums Summary

Personal Jesus all the way. I forgot about the 80’s alt sound mixed with that decade’s synth pop sound.

Not my favorite Frank recording. Hadn’t really paid attention to the glockenspiel during the introduction and first verse of “Anything Goes”. That’s some tough timing. Riddle’s orchestration is impeccable. Fun songs, well performed, masterful musicianship’s, but somehow feels pedestrian. Prefer Sinatra’s concept albums.
